You
will learn: Introduction to the Eight Principles as a means of deepening
understanding of the etiology of imbalance from the TCM perspective.
This
class is both didactic and very experiential. The student learns the
Exogenous & Endogenous causes of energetic imbalance including the Six
External Pathogens & the Seven Emotions.
Students re-visit the pulse in more depth, adding qualitative
characteristics to quantitative assessment, as well as learning to Śread
the pulse intuitively; tongue diagnosis; Japanese akabane; cupping &
moxibustion techniques; and learning the use of therapeutic oils.
This
class integrates TCM into the 5 Element system.
